Description
PPH Butterfly Study (II) - An open label phase II un-randomised clinical trial employing the Post-Partum Haemorrhage (PPH) Butterfly to test management of PPH with this innovative device, with historical controls. This dataset provides detailed information on 57 women who experienced clinical PPH following vaginal birth and did not respond to initial oxytocin treatment. The dataset is anonymised and available in CSV format.

Risk of disclosing participants' identities was mitigated by removing references to dates and times of delivery and discharge, as well as the dates of adverse events and the dates of reporting adverse events to the sponsor, MHRA and NHS R&D. Additionally, columns identifying clinicians using the device and observing midwives were removed.
