METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION

Description of methods used for collection/generation of data:
The dataset combines archaeological field recording using the DEBS method (https://www.debs.ac.uk), archival research and epigraphic analysis of Jewish memorials relocated from the former Oakes Street and Upper Frederick Street burial grounds to Broadgreen Cemetery. Individual memorials were photographed, catalogued, transcribed and translated. Historical and genealogical information was compiled where available.
