These interviews contain anonymised clinical stories. 2) 7 medical student focus group and related audio transcripts. These focus groups relate to the participants experiences of either patient or clinician shadowing in paediatric surgical daycase and the impact of this on their understanding of patient experience and empathy. Once again these interviews contain anonymised clinical stories. 3) An Excel spreadsheet containing longitudinal self assessment scores (Jefferson Scale of Empathy - Student Version) from a cohort of medical students from 2017 to 2019.
